Existentialism. Empiricism. Logic, Skepticism, and a scientific Epistemology.

Big-brained words for big-brained people, coined by academic pedants.

Complexity, after all, only ever serves to complicate and confuse—to create an exclusionary space in which academic philosophers can tell themselves that they’re smarter than everyone else. Every good scientist or engineer knows, however, that the simpler the system—the less complex your methodology, and the easier to use your creations are—the more efficient they’ll be, and the less room there’ll be for error.

In other words:

The easier to understand the things you say are… the more quickly other people will be able to understand them.

And so, in the spirit of Wittgenstein and the simplicity and elegance of efficient design, The Modern Existentialist hopes to bring Existentialist theory to the everyman in the most plain and straightforward way possible.
